Stage 1. Usability Audit

Initiated the project with a comprehensive usability audit of the existing client and vendor areas, employing heuristic evaluation and performance analytics to identify friction points. This audit revealed significant areas for improvement, particularly in the user flow, functionality of the pages, and content organization.

Stage 2. Definition of Color Palette, Styles and Typography

Defined a cohesive design language to ensure consistency across all elements of the redesign. Established a color palette, typography, and component styles that reflect the brand identity and enhance user experience. Focused on creating a visually appealing and intuitive interface that aligns with the needs and expectations of the users.

Stage 3. Design Strategy

Formulated a redesign strategy that prioritizes improved user flow and functionality. Developed a detailed design roadmap categorizing changes into short-term fixes and long-term enhancements. The strategy included organizing content effectively and maintaining consistency in elements, colors, and typography to guide the redesign efforts successfully.

Stage 4. Prototype Development

  • Sitemap: Developed the sitemap outlining the flow of the client and vendor areas. This step ensured a clear and logical structure for the new design, facilitating intuitive navigation and user interaction.

  • High-Fidelity Prototyping: Utilized Figma to create detailed prototypes that brought the new design to life. These prototypes featured a refined aesthetic that showcases the improved functionality and interactivity of the client and vendor areas.

  • User Interface Design: Revamped the visual identity of the client and vendor areas, incorporating a cohesive color palette, typography, and dynamic elements. Ensured that the interface is not only visually appealing but also functional and easy to navigate.

Stage 5. Refinement & Implementation

Collected feedback from stakeholders on the layout and made refinements based on their needs and user insights. Collaborated closely with the development team to ensure the final design was accurately implemented in the live environment. This stage ensured that the design enhancements were practical, user-centric, and aligned with the project's goals.

Final delivery

The project was successful in delivering the requested enhancements. We delivered a total of 35 screens, including user and vendor registration screens, as well as the client and vendor area screens. Although we did not monitor the post-delivery implementation, the project met all initial requirements and provided a robust foundation for future improvements.
